I found Mr. Mahoney's words to be challenging, motivating, and most of all, inspiring. He concisely summed up why I've entered the field of wildlife/habitat conservation and laid out the challenges we yet face. His speech captured the disappointment that we can feel in our daily struggles to promote a conservation ethos, while also reminding the audience of the thrill felt when a project is completed successfully.
